Magic Carpet
Early on during Lockdown, a friend, Gillian Travis, suggested that we forming an online group with some international textile friends with a view to having an online exhibition.
We got together with Christine Seager, also from the UK and some colleagues from Australia – Brenda Wood and Alison Charlton, Shoshi Rimer from Israel and Isabelle Weissler from Germany and decided to call the group Magic Carpet, which seemed appropriate as we all like to travel.
We have exhibited at the Australian Quilt Show and in the UK and the Czech Republic. These exhibitions are called Evolve I and Evolve II and we are working on Evolve III.
